Andoni & Georgia | Bramleigh Estate
Looking back at where it all began reveals a quiet power; a specific, enduring beauty found in the ‘last of things.’ On a warm, cloudy Thursday in late February 2020, we joined Andoni and Georgia at Bramleigh Estate for what would unexpectedly become one of the final big celebrations before our world went quiet for a while. As our first full wedding as Thurry & Lolla, this day remains a poignant cornerstone of our portfolio. It wasn't about a perfectly curated gallery; it was about a day that felt vibrantly, loudly, and unapologetically human. If we close our eyes, we can still hear the drums.
Weekday celebrations hold a unique charm, there’s something particularly fun about taking what would usually be a working day and having a party; and the atmosphere at this Warrandyte venue was a party in the truest sense. The air felt heavy with a joyful, uninhibited energy; the kind that only surfaces when people who love each other deeply come together to celebrate. We didn’t know at the time that these moments would serve as a vital time capsule, captured with intentionality just weeks before the stillness took hold and we wouldn’t see many of our lived ones for a while. To us, this gallery represents more than just a wedding; it marks the effortless joy of being together and the beginning of our own journey documenting love stories.
