Kristina & Tim | Echo Bend

There is a kind of relaxed you can only find in the country, and for Kristina and Tim’s wedding, Echo Bend was the perfect place to find it. Complete with a spit roast for dinner and their pup wandering through the crowd, their day was a beautiful reminder that simple is absolutely no less special. With only their closest people gathered, the ceremony was incredibly intimate, held at the top of the property under the shade of the trees.

The love that went into the day was felt in every detail, from the timber benches hand-built by Tim to the way the afternoon transitioned into a slow, easy evening. As the sun began to drop behind the hills that surround the campground, we wandered down to the lake for portraits. The light was perfectly golden and the air was still, a quiet moment for just the two of them before heading back to the celebrations.

As the evening settled in, the formalities were kept to a minimum, leaving space for the things that mattered. Marquees were set up across the grass, and as the air cooled, guests swapped their wedding attire for more comfortable clothes to settle in for the night. With the sound of kids playing and the low hum of family catching up over a drink, the focus remained exactly where it should be: on the connection between two people and the ones they chose to start their life together with. It was a day that felt as grounded, cosy, and authentic as the surroundings.
