There is something so refreshing about a couple who decides to simply embrace their day exactly as it unfolds. For Royce and Alicia, that meant embracing persistent rain, because Melbourne. But rather than worrying about the weather or the fact that their beach photos looked a little (a lot) different than we planned, they spent the day laughing and focused entirely on each other. Watching them move through the drizzle with such composure was the perfect reminder that the best celebrations are usually the ones where you just let go, accept what you cannot control and enjoy the ride.

With its grand chandeliers and polished white interiors, Whitestone Events in Bentleigh East provided a warm, dry sanctuary from the weather. From the room reveal to the bridal entrance, the energy just kept climbing. The night peaked with a packed dance floor thanks to the very talented DJ/saxman Rob Muir - not to mention a guest list that clearly loves to have a good time. And have a good time we did!

Capturing both the photography and film for Royce and Alicia allowed us to document the day from every angle. To us, this wedding was the perfect example of a couple who chose joy over perfection, proving that the best memories usually happen when you’re too busy having fun to notice the rain.
